Recent Testimonials and updates

“Cat’s Eye consulting successfully guided us through the process of 9001:2015 registration. Their staff made the process easy and straight forward. Together we built a system that was registered easily the first time – but was not overly complex or cumbersome to use. This system will help us gain new business and provide a higher quality customer experience.” [ProCanada West Energy]

ISO 14001:2015 and 9001:2015 update

Many of our clients have already been through their EMS upgrade from 14001:2004 to 14001:2015 with very few issues! Overall we feel that the upgrade was much more straight forward than first thought.

Strengths and pleasant surprises:

  • SWOT analysis conducted to achieve [6.1 Actions to address risks and opportunities]
  • 4.1 Understanding the organization and its context – several have commented that some new stakeholders have come to light thanks to this clause – and it has helped them with their overall business  and risk management strategy.

Challenges:

  • Some of the (few) new sections that have been mandatory to document have been missed by some clients, e.g. risks (The organization shall maintain documented information of its: — risks and opportunities that need to be addressed;)
  • The organization shall have methods to determine if similar non-conformities exist or *could* exist – our take on this is that exist means already discovered and documented (e.g. a scan of the NCR log would do) but could exist is somewhat less straightforward…. perhaps looking at similar situations or areas of the company to where the NCR in question was found.
